My work flows from my focus on drawing. I studied at the London College of Communication and have since undertaken various courses in Milan and at Central St Martins as well as collaborative projects for London Design Week, the Anti-design festival, Brighton Art College and Corridor. My professional practice focuses on illustration and communication design for a variety of international clients and design agencies. I am also part of the Corridor Collective engaged in socially responsive art projects. Yes, Inkpen is my real surname!

Just finished this illustration for the RSA Journal about closing gaps in education, based on drawings made around London this summer and rendered in ink and watercolour. You can view the Journal and read the article here:

Journal Range

I have produced a range of hand-made journals. They are screen printed with my designs and then hand stitched and folded. The ‘Wave Journal’ and ‘Cloud Journal’ are inspired by the coastal environment in Sussex. Available to buy soon.
